Masternaut Three X engineers new installation services
Leeds, UK, 18 February 2009 – Masternaut Three X has launched a new service division to streamline the installation of its telematics, in-cab and mobile asset tracking equipment. The company’s In-Vehicle Solutions division provides a unique end-to-end managed and audited service designed to enable customers to go live quickly, with minimum disruption to their operations. Working as a dedicated, turn-key post-sales delivery service, In-Vehicle Solutions springs into action as soon as a customer signs and returns the sales order.
“We tightly manage the whole process every step of the way, from receiving the works orders to sourcing materials and components to completing the job, enabling us get our customers up and running with their new systems in the shortest time possible. We can comfortably handle up to 3,000 installations per month across the UK and Ireland, giving an annual capability of around 30,000 projects a year – no other company offers this level of service,” said Neil Garbutt, Service Director of Masternaut Three X’s In-Vehicle Solutions.
The new division employs 17 full-time specialist multi-skilled engineers, with additional technical support from Carphone Warehouse, Diareyes and Executive Installations, providing an additional 60 engineers. The engineers are supported by a management and coordination team who also have a thorough knowledge of all types of vehicles and auto-electrical installations. Accredited by the Federation of Communication Services, VSIB and IOSH Health & Safety, In-Vehicle Solutions performs rigorous audits on its work to maintain the highest attainable standards.
To ensure that engineers are fully supplied for each job, the division’s warehouse and distribution department works through the night, preparing and testing equipment ready for delivery to site using the Bybox in-night delivery service.
